Viewing and searching your customer list
Customer list overview
The Customers page displays all customers associated with your workspace. Each row shows the customer name, email, total orders, and last activity date. You can sort by any column and use filters to find specific customers.
To search for a customer:
- Navigate to Customers from the left sidebar.
- Type a name, email, or company in the search bar.
- Use filters to narrow by tags, order count, or date range.
- Click on a customer row to open their full profile.
You can export your customer list as a CSV file by clicking the "Export" button. This is useful for email marketing or reporting outside of Seamline.
Understanding customer profile details
Profile overview
Each customer profile in Seamline consolidates everything you know about that customer: contact details, order history, quotes, design requests, communication logs, and applied tags. This gives your team a 360-degree view without switching between tools.
Key profile sections
Contact Information — Name, email, phone, company, and shipping addresses. Order History — All orders placed by this customer with status and totals. Quotes — Any quotes created for this customer. Design Requests — Design work associated with this customer. Activity Log — A timeline of interactions, status changes, and notes.
Add notes to a customer profile to capture important context like preferred decoration methods, brand guidelines, or key contacts at their organization.
Viewing customer communication history
Communication log
Seamline automatically logs emails sent through the platform — quote emails, order confirmations, shipping notifications, and design approvals. You can view the full communication timeline on each customer profile.
To view communication history:
- Open the customer profile.
- Click the "Communications" tab.
- Browse the timeline of sent emails and notifications.
- Click any entry to see the full email content that was sent.
If you use the GoHighLevel CRM integration, communications from that platform will also appear in the customer timeline for a complete history.
